Local Transport Plan 3 2011 - 2030. Consultation 4: Policies

PLEASE READ THE TEXT BELOW BEFORE RESPONDING

Background

For information about the Local Transport Plan and progress to date please refer to the Background Document by clicking on the 'Consultation Documents' link in the box above.

What can I comment on?

A list of draft policies can be downloaded from the "Consultation Documents" link above. We would like your views on:

  • Individual draft policies. For example is there anything you think should be added or removed and how if at all you would like to see the policy changed in the final Local Transport Plan.
  • Whether additional policies need to be added on specific issues and what you would like to see included in these.

Please remember that these are draft policies and we welcome your suggestions to help us finalise policies which reflect the needs of our communities. We expect to make a range of changes in response to your comments.  You will also have an opportunity to comment on the revised policies in Summer 2010 as part of the twelve week consultation period on the full plan.

Getting started

Please read through the list of nineteen draft transport policies and decide which you would like to comment on. (You are welcome to comment on as many or few as you feel appropriate)

How to make your comments

  • Where possible we encourage you to make your comments online.  You can do this by clicking on the 'Respond to the Consultation' link in the box above.
  • You do not need to complete the questionnaire in one go. Your responses will be saved and you can return to them at a later time.
  • Alternatively you can print a copy of the questionnaire, complete it and post it back to our Freepost address.  No stamp or further address details are needed:
